About the play
The play draws on the relationship between five women who meet in the house of the deceased Şükran Hanım to tidy her leftovers, and their relationship to the deceased and her belongings. It takes place in a hot day in Adana at the funeral home.
What does one leave behind when they are gone? Which of the residues survive? Who is the remainder of whom? Who stays with whom for how long?
